The California Compliant M400-TREAD-V2 extends SIG SAUER’s popular M400 series of rifles to the golden state. Modified to include state compliant features the M400-TREAD offers California citizens an update over the original compliant model with an improved forend and trigger.
Chambered in 5.56 NATO the M400-TREAD-V2-CA comes equipped with a 16” stainless steel barrel with versatile 1:8 twist rate. Additional standard features include a mid-length direct impingement gas system for smooth operation and reduced recoil along with an updated trigger – the SIG 2-stage Matchlite DUO – for improved accuracy. The M400-TREAD is also furnished with a free-floating M-LOK enhanced handguard for improved firearm control and for easily mounting accessories. Othe CA-compliant elements include a Magpul MOE fixed carbine stock CA Compliant grip 10-round magazine and a 3-port muzzle brake
The rifle’s lower receiver is designed with an ambidextrous safety and magazine release for right or left-handed shooters and includes an integrated QD mount to easily accommodate the sling style of your choice.
